Biography

Wendy most recently served as Director of International Product Management for American Express Travel, where she was the executive responsible for the strategy, initiation and full execution of a global change initiative to standardize booking processes and accounting practices across 24 countries. This effort included process reengineering for retirement of 15 legacy systems and removal of over 100 non-standard processes in the booking flow.  Previously at American Express, Wendy drove the global product strategy for the Business Travel division, and launched a SaaS traveler security platform that won the prestigious Chairman’s Innovation award.

Prior to American Express, Wendy served as Vice President of Segment Marketing at Level 3 Communications, where she designed and implemented marketing programs for all business segments.  Prior to Level 3, Wendy was Vice President, Product Management and Marketing for iBAHN, a venture-funded Internet services startup, where she worked closely with the board of directors to assess new strategies and market opportunities.  Wendy has also served as Senior Director, Product Innovation for Travelport, where she sat on the global investment committee to prioritize project funding.  Additionally, Wendy has held key leadership roles in the launch of Citrix Systems, Verio / NTT, Nextel Communications, Vroom Technologies, and Fidelia.
